Over the years, girl bands have come and gone but none – NONE – have manged to combine noughties pop, classic R&B and UK garage quite like Mis-Teeq. And that's why they'll forever be our fave (soz Little Mix, you're gonna have to take a backseat on this one).
And if mega babe and former band member Alesha Dixon has her way, the sassy AF trio may be getting back together. YAAAAAS!
Speaking on Lorraine this morning, Alesha explained: "I don’t know what we’re waiting for really to be honest."
WE DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE WAITING FOR EITHER, ALESHA HUN.
She continued: "We’re talking, we love each other and we’d love it to happen one day but timing is key, at the moment I’m working on solo material, but it’s finding that time.
"It would be disastrous not to do something because of the history we have together and if it wasn’t for the girls I wouldn’t be doing what I’m doing now and I love them, so it would be nice."
Tbh, it would be Scandalous (soz not soz).
Until the gals get their acts together, stop trying to work on their own ventures and deny the world what it really, truly needs, here’s a little reminder of just how bloody great Mis-Teeq were in their heyday.
