If we ever went on Mastermind our specialist subject would be Geordie Shore and that is 100% the truth.
We have seen every. single. episode. From series one right up to the present day and write about the cast members about once an hour (conservative estimate).
So our brains have been blown right out of our minds by this revelation.
There was another original cast mate! One that no one ever noticed. And we don't mean Greg Lake.
Marie joined the other originals – Greg, Gary Beadle, Sophie Kasaei, Holly Hagan, Charlotte Crosby, James Tindale, Jay Gardner and Vicky Pattison in the end of series one special, Magaluf Madness.
But although Marie can be seen in the show, her speaking part was edited out.
Speaking about Marie in her autobiography, Nothing But The Truth, Vicky said:
"What a lot of people don’t know is that a new cast member was brought in in the shape of a Scottish girl called Marie.
"She had long blonde hair, a great body and no personality. She was about as much fun as earache.
"I suspect [producers] thought she may ruffle a few feathers, but she failed to cause even a ripple because she was so dull she was totally edited out."
Sophie has also tweeted about the cast mate who pretty much never was, saying:
"OMG just remembered when we filmed gshore in magaluf we actually had a new cast member but they edited her out I wanna see her again."
Maybe Marie should be brought back to up the original cast count. It's reported that Holly has quit the show, and Gary says he only has two seasons left in him.
She should stock up on snacks in her suitcase, mind. Holly's also said that the show barely feeds the cast. Which doesn't sound like much fun.
