Exciting news, *Geordie Shore *fans.
Two new housemates have been announced for series 12: Martin McKenna and Chantelle Connolly.
Yes, *heat *predicted that they’d be walking into the most famous building in Newcastle (other than Byker Grove – obvs) back in November but that’s because we are the Geordie Shore oracle.
And now, it’s official.
Show sources also seem to be very excited about the “shock” return of Marnie Simpson but is anyone shocked by this? Surely it was a racing certainty the moment the beautiful love between her and Ricky Rayment from TOWIE died.
“I can’t wait to be back with the family and tear the place up, Geordie style!” Marnie said in a statement that definitely came out of her mouth and wasn’t written for her by PR. Definitely.
Speaking of which, could the producers be setting up a GIRL FIGHT between Marnie and Chantelle?
Chantelle is alleged to have said that her ideal man has “good craic” and is into “being well groomed and tattoos”.
So, basically Aaron Chalmers then.
As for Martin, if you think you’ve seen him before – you have!
He’s been seen on TV, shaking his man balls over the Ex On The Beach shop, where he appeared as the sort-of ex of Jemma Lucy.
He’s also the on/off shag partner of our new favourite, Chloe Etherington and was the man partying with Marnie the night she was spotted without her engagement ring which sort of lead to her break-up with Ricky sob.
And Kyle Christie thinks he’s a nob.
Marty said of Chloe that he’d probably “shag her again, just for the banter”.
So he sounds like quite the charmer.
