It doesn't seem like five minutes since Matt Terry won The X Factor series 13; but somehow we're already at this season's Bootcamp - we might as well start playing Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas already.
Yup - with this year's Strictly Come Dancing in full swing, it's time to turn our attention to the other telly show vying for our affections this autumn/winter.

When did The X Factor start this year?
The X Factor returned to our screens on Saturday 2nd September at 8pm on ITV, so we're now in week 6.
When are The X Factor live shows?
This year, The X Factor live shows have been cut to a mere six weeks. They'll be kicking off on 28 October 2017.
When is The X Factor 2017 final?
The 2017 live finale will take place on the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd December 2017.

Who's going to win X Factor 2017?
We're only at the first week of Bootcamp, but there have already been a few standout acts we'd LOVE to see in the final.
Grace wowed the judges with an emotional perfermance of her original song Roots.
Kayleigh shocked the judges with her powerful vocals during her audition. But this isn't the first time Kayleigh's been on the telly.

Georgina, the 20 year old Brummie received a standing ovation for her rendition of Sweet Dreams and got everyone talking last week.
Who's presenting this year?
Dermot O'Leary's back once again, which should provide our weekly fix of dad dancing if Strictly fails to deliver on that front.
Is Cheryl back on The X Factor this time?
Contrary to those reports she could pop up at judges' houses earlier this year, it's looking like Cheryl might be staying at home with baby Bear Payne this year.
Addressing the rumours in an interview with the Mirror, Simon said: "It’s bullshit. I haven’t spoken to her in six months."
Alrighty then.

Since then there's been more speculation that Cheryl could be heading to Judges' Houses to help out Simon.
Sinitta recently revealed she's been snubbed, and more sources suggest Chezza's nabbed her job.
Who are this year's guest judges?
Stormzy's going to be Nicole's guest judge, then maybe Cheryl for Simon, and Alesha Dixon might be appearing alongisde Louis.
And we reckon Robbie Williams could be making a return and giving Sharon a helping hand.

What happened in the first week of Bootcamp?
Bootcamp's back, and this time it's back in the arena.
Last week, 22 year old Alisah Bonaobra from the Philippines got a no, but begged for another chance - and it actually worked.
Brothers, Sean and Conor Price from Ireland had a shaky start but got through after nailing Ed Sheeran's 'Sing'.
What else happened on The X Factor last week?
Sam Black, a 27 year old plasterer from the Isle of Man proposed to his girlfriend, Emma who had applied to the show for him.
Viewers were glad that Jodie Woolcott got her marching orders after coming across as arrogant during her performance of Meghan Traynor's Me Too and refusing to share lines in a group performance of Symphony.
When did The X Factor auditions start?
Back in May, the (untelevised) auditions hit Belfast, Bangor, Southampton, Douglas, Swansea, Blackpool, Bournemouth, Bristol, Carlisle, Brighton, Truro, Newport, Wigan, Plymouth, Margate, Stoke on Trent, Exeter, Thurrock and Yeovil.
Phew.
Is The Xtra Factor back or what?
Do you want the bad news or the bad news? The show, which was presented by Matt Edmondson and Rylan Clark-Neal last year, has been scrapped after 12 years in favour of a more online focus. Y'know, YouTube and stuff.
Speaking to Radio Times about the obscenely controversial decision, an ITV spokesperson explained: "We have taken the decision to move away from a linear switchover show, and instead focus our efforts on our digital platforms."
Will The X Factor clash with Strictly Come Dancing and which will win the ## ratings battle?
Probably, and who knows? Last year Strictly sort of smashed it, but there's all to play for.
What about the Six Chair Challenge?
That, despite some viewers calling for it to be cut due to its pretty harsh nature, will return this year. Brutal.
WTF's going on with that 'jukebox' format? Is that still a thing?
When it comes to format changes we don't know too much right now, but what we do know is that rather ridiculous 'random' theme selector's been given the boot.
