Is there NO mention of One Direction in the Harry Styles documentary?

Niall Horan would never do this to us

It's been nearly two years since One Direction went on hiatus and we're still not fully over it. We live in hope that one day we'll wake up to the news that the boys are back together and releasing another banger, but at least we can occupy ourselves with their solo careers until then. Just don't keep us waiting too long, OK lads?

Harry Styles has been very busy since the band decided to take a break, from his self-titled number one album to his debut acting role in blockbuster movie Dunkirk, and next on his list is a documentary.

Last month the BBC announced an hour-long show titled Harry At The BBC, in which Harry will chat about his life and career with pal and Radio 1 presenter Nick Grimshaw, and perform tracks from his solo album in front of a live studio audience.

It all sounded pretty good to us, UNTIL we heard that Harry apparently wants to avoid talking about his 1D days.

Any mention of One Direction has apparently been 'airbrushed from the pre-publicity' for the show as Haz is keen to distance himself from his boyband roots. But why would he want to do that?

"The path Harry has taken with his music is very different to the type of big pop songs he was performing with One Direction. As a result, Harry is keen to get away from his teenybopper days and reinvent himself as a rockstar," an insider told The Sun.

However, the source dded: "Despite that, it's understood that a One Direction segment has been filmed as part of the documentary."

This all sounds very confusing and it looks like we're going to have to wait until the documentary airs on BBC One in autumn to find out the truth. We'll definitely be tuning in.
