What with all these rumours of Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall maybe-but-also-maybe-not being cast as Jasmine in Guy Ritchie's live action Aladdin movie, talk's turning to her acting capabilities and if she's ready for Hollywood.

Well let us tell you now; she very much is. Exhibit A? Skin.

Jade recently admitted she 'can't confirm or deny' the potential Aladdin role, so until we have something more certain allow us to present to you a throwback acting clip pre-Little Mix.

We came across director Garry Moore's Skin on YouTube; a clip which sees Jade show off her acting skills alongside some old stage school pals. The premise goes a bit like so:

'When 14 year old public schoolgirl Sofie is taken to visit her father's new girlfriend, the reception from her two teenage daughters isn't quite what Sofie had hoped for. Barriers of class, race and jealousy prevent the girls from being friends, and in the heat of an argument a secret is revealed which rocks Sofie's world.'

Commenting on the vid, Garry said: "She was the nicest person to work with. Really lovely girl, and a very talented actress as well. I saw her in the stage musical 'We Will Rock You' before I cast her in Skin. She is good friends with the blonde girl in the film who I knew before meeting Jade."

Check out the throwback clip below, if ya fancy.

Next stop, Hollywood.
