Late last year, after we'd spent LITERALLY YEARS trying to fill the Harry Potter shaped hole in our hearts, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them was released in cinemas.
AND IT WAS ACTUALLY GENUINELY REALLY, REALLY GOOD.
And the news that there would be FIVE FILMS was almost as exciting as the Battle of Hogwarts.
(Almost – nothing has ever been or will ever be that exciting).
And JK has just established herself once again as the undisputed queen of Twitter, as she posted a preview of the next film's script.
She wrote: "Having a Beastly day" alongside a pic of the script, on which you can't actually see anything bar her name and a note about it being confidential.
BUT IT'S STILL VERY EXCITING.
And if you're wondering who will play Dumbledore in the upcoming films (which, let's face it, we all are), you'll be excited to learn that JK Rowling already has someone in mind.
Though she's being a bit coy about it.
Dan Fogler (who plays Jacob) said in an interview with MTV News last year: "As the stories go along you – I can't give it away – you will see, you will hear mention of your favourite characters and, you know, you may even meet their counterparts along the way."
And when asked if Dumbledore will be returning, he said: "Um, I take the fifth".
HMMMM.
But then J.K herself confirmed it, saying: "I have, of course, thought about this. I do have a name. I do have someone in mind, but I can't say it. Because if that person doesn't get cast, then the person who does get cast will blame me forever for having said it, won't they? So, I'm going to just keep quiet."
BLOODY HELL, as Ron would say.
In (sort of) related news, someone recently made a mash-up of Harry Potter and Beauty and The Beast and we have literally been in shock ever since.
In it, ACTUAL VOLDEMORT falls in love with Belle.
Or as she's better known, HERMIONE.
This is wrong on so many levels.
IT'S CALLED BEAUTY AND VOLDEMORT.
