What was the highlight of *Love Island *2016?

If you said anything other than Tom Powell leaving you’re basically wrong.

The second best moment, however, was undoubtedly Malin Andersson returning to confront Terry Walsh who moved on from her approximately one minute after she was booted out.

So we are delighted at the idea of Jon Clark from Towie going in to confront his alleged girlfriend Chloe Crowhurst. Could it happen?

Everything you need to know about Love Island 2017

Jon seems keen, and retweeted this snap of him in 2015’s series:

And last year’s contestants Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen also think he should go back to the show that made him famous.

They’ve been giving their opinion on the whole Jon / Chloe debacle and they’re firmly in team Jon after he said Chloe was in a relationship with him and the first he knew of being dumped was when he saw her in the show’s line-up.

“How could anyone do that to a person?” asked Alex, who’s our new moral compass.

“It’s disgusting.”

“It’s really awkward, Jon Clark is our really good friend,” continued Olivia in a video for MTV.co.uk.

Which raises the point: why haven’t they appeared in Towie yet?

ANYWAY.

“I’d love Jon to go in there though,” she went on.

“That would be hilarious,” Alex added.

And for once, we agree with him.

Remember when we published that photo of Alex’s enormous penis (allegedly)? That was a good day.

And maybe Alex and Liv will change their tune when they hear that Jon apparently smooched another woman before he knew Chloe had jetted off into the sunshine.
