This year's I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! has pretty much been sugar and spice and all things nice.

Besides Martin Roberts and Danny Baker's little tiffs and THAT Larry Lamb and Martin spat.

(Poor old Martin seems to be caught up in a lot of the dramz.)

On the whole the camp seems to be full of love and all the celebs are being v sweat and pleasant. Where's the Lady and Tony Hadley-style fued when you need it, eh?

There hasn’t even been any potential hook-ups – although we're still rooting for Carol Vorderman and Joel Dommett to get it on.

Instead, this year's dramz comes in the form of frankly horrendous Bushtucker Trials.

Is it just us, or do they seem particularly awful this year?

There was they beyond gross Bush Brewery which resulted in Martin vomming EVERYWHERE.

There have been trials involving LIVE crocodiles.

About 1234824797464 cockroaches.

And really, small, dark, confined spaces which literally make us anxious just thinking about.

And last night's Pick 'n' Critz trial was no exception.

The trial consisted of Martin and FITLORD Adam Thomas having to hold all manner of creepy crawlies in the their mouths for 30 seconds, in order to win meals for camp.

And viewers were NOT happy with how the bugs were being treated.

Some took to Twitter to vent their frustrations.

One wrote: "I'm sorry but I really don't understand how I'm a celeb gets away with some of the shit they put animals through for entertainment."

Another asked: "Anyone else feel sorry for the animals and critters used on I'm a Celeb?"

Others said they like the show but thought the trials went a bit far.

This isn’t the first time the I'm A Celeb trials have been criticised. Former Made In Chelsea star Lucy Watson has previously slammed the show for their treatment of animals.

Speaking exclusively to heatworld she said: "I hope that at some point they get to the stage where they stop using so many animals."

She also added: "It’s not a show I would probably ever work with on that basis."
