Kate Wright to ‘take a break’ from TOWIE

She's been a TOWIE regular since 2015 and gripped viewers with the dramas of her on-off romance with co-star Dan Edgar.

But Kate Wright, 25, has reportedly told pals she's quitting the show. Kate, who's been linked to Rio Ferdinand since January,has reportedly told friends she doesn't feel she there's anything left for her on TOWIE, though we're told there are no hard feelings and it's all very amicable.

A source told heat: "Kate is over Dan and doesn't want to keep being put in scenes with him or watch him date other girls. Rio hasn't told her to quit the show but she knows he's a private person and she couldn't discuss their romance on the show.

"She doesn't think the relationship will work with her being TOWIE, as filming also takes up loads of her schedule. She's really smitten with Rio and is willing to do what it takes to make it work."

Oh, and UPDATE: The Sun's now reporting that Kate is indeed set to 'take a break' from the show to focus on new 'business ventures.' She told Bizarre: "I am taking a long break from the show to focus on my new business ventures and an exciting bikini range."
