Duncan James has been gracing our TV screens with his presence on Hollyoaks for some time now, and now another band member is set to make his soap debut.

Lee Ryan is heading to Walford to play new resident bad boy Woody in EastEnders – we're hoping he's gonna bring back some vintage Beppe di Marco (remember him?) vibes to the The Square.

We're so excited to see Lee's character join the Walford gang and it looks like we won't be waiting long as his first scenes are expected to air in the next few weeks.

Speaking to The Sun, Lee Said: "I’m so excited to be part of the show. Woody is the best role I could have wished for.

"He’s a brilliant character and it’s clear he’s led a colourful life."

Hopefully Lee's venture into the acting world will be as successful as his pal Duncan's. He was recently nominated for the Best Newcomer award at the National Television Awards.

In other TV news, have you heard that Love Island is coming back?

Yup and 'cause we're dead nice to ya (and it's sort of our job) we thought we'd bring you all the latest on the show. Which you can check out here.

Also, a lot has been going on with former Celebrity Big Brother stars Bianca Gascoigne and Jamie O'Hara.

Bianca has hit out at her ex, CJ Meeks, for apparently PAYING girls to go on dates with him.

And Jamie O'Hara has spoken out about trying to get back with his ex. He released a statement online to try and clear up the whole Bianca situation. You can read that here.
