It’s been over 10 years since Love Actually first graced our screens, but everyone’s favourite festive movie had a secret plot line that never made the final cut.
The scene involved a same-sex relationship between Emma Thompson’s kids’ headmistress and her long term lover.
In the subplot, the headmistress’ partner was suffering from a terminal illness leaving a stricken teacher to care for her in her final days.
Director Richard Curtis was forced to cut the subplot when Emma Thompson’s scene with the headmistress was left out leaving no linkage between the plots.
