Congrats are in order for Vicky Pattison and John Noble, who are now engaged after what she described as a 'difficult few weeks' for the pair.
Showing off a big ol' chuck of bling on the cover of OK! magazine, Vicky revealed she 'couldn't believe' John was getting down on one knee as...um...wiped slobber from her dog's gob. ROMANTIC.
Chatting to OK!, Vicky said: "I was spending a few days at John’s house, which is just outside Newcastle and surrounded by lovely countryside. One morning he suggested we take his dog Roxie out for a walk.
"I was playing with Roxie when she shook her head and got slobber all over my face. When I wiped it away, John was in front of me on one knee.
"I couldn’t believe it, I burst into tears. I said yes and then I looked at the ring and I was blown away, it was amazing."
Vicky was properly shocked by the proposal, though. She added: "We’d had a difficult few weeks because I had been really busy with work and couldn’t make it to see him.
"For years I have struggled with my personal life and finding someone who was supportive of my career and essentially successful in their own right as well.
"And finally I have that with John. He’s lovely and caring and strong."
