It must be super tough for the Love Island newbies to make their mark on the villa with all the well-established relationships and firm friendships already in place. The OG lot have been bezzies for, like, four weeks now so it would take a heck of a lot of hard graft to break those kind of bonds, right?

So, it comes as little surprise that out of the eleven new Islanders that descended on the villa and Casa Amor last week, 6 were dumped from the Island on Sunday night.

Rob Lipsett and Shannen Reilly McGrath were two of those unlucky in love newbies who failed to win over the existing cast. Picky bunch, eh?

But rather than moping about their misfortune or residing to the fact they may end up single and alone for ever (heeeeey, it's not so bad) the pair decided to, errm, crack on with each other.

Taking to Twitter, Rob shared a picture of him cosying up to Shannen along with the caption: "I may be leaving #LoveIsIand but your boy ain't leaving empty handed."

THEY WEREN'T EVEN IN THE SAME VILLA ON THE SHOW. But they still managed to find love on Love Island

Maybe we should give it a go, applications are still open after all.
