From slathering them in sun cream to remind them to take the pill, the *Love Island *producers are all about looking after their contestants!

There’s only one thing we love more than Love Island, and that’s BTS gossip from Love Island.

Series 2 winner and mother-to-be Cara De La Hoyde has revealed that there are chaperones on hand 24/7 in case anyone needs a time out from the back-to-back drama in the villa.

She has also spoken about how caring and considerate the producers are to all the islanders throughout the series!

HOW CUTE.

Talking to Glamour, the twenty-six-year-old explained how the chaperones weren’t allowed on camera or to manipulate any situation, their primary role was to provide islanders with emotional support.

"There were days when things were hard and you miss everyone. You can go sit out the front of the villa and chat to them."

She also explained that their meals, which are all catered for (apart from breakfast) were their only downtime as the microphones get switched off and charged- but chaperones sit with contestants to ensure that no sneaky conversations or arguments take place as that has to be saved for the camera!

We have always wondered what they got up to at meal times.

The islanders also aren’t allowed to know what time it is- but series 2 had a Jacuzzi with the time on it so they could all work it out which annoyed the producers.

LOLLLL.

When the islanders get down it at night, they would be pulled to one side the following day by producers to make sure they were okay.

Cara explained: "They are tactful and they want to check that you are happy that it happened and if you used protection. It’s not about being nosy, it’s safety. They are very conscious about looking after you."

AWWW, this just makes us love the show even more!

Cara-DeLaHodye-Nathan-Massey

Cara is expecting her first baby with Essex boy Nathan Massey after they had a whirlwind romance on the show which saw them win the £50,000 prize. Sadly, the two have recently called it quits on their relationship.

Either way, Cara is going to have a Love Island baby, and we are SO excited!!
