Nothing really shocks us here at heat – how can it when we worship the likes of Geordie Shore, Big Brother and Ex On The Beach day in and day out? We all know what goes on in those shows: debauchery, nakedness and a lot of hanky panky.

That's what.

Having sex on the telly is part and parcel of reality telly life in 2016 and it IS gross to watch. Really gross.

However, it's also the choice of consenting adults that want to get down and dirty on the telly. So should we judge them?

Take Love Island, a show that's all about finding love, making love and staying in love despite what else comes their way. It's more popular than Big Brother this year and we're all lapping up the drama.

The villa is littered with THOUSANDS of condoms to promote safe sex and this year nearly all of the couples have bumped uglies.

Sophie Gradon, queen of our hearts, gave an empowering speech on how women SHOULDN'T be made to feel worthless or bad about having sex.

After she was crowned Miss Love Island, she said: "Life shouldn’t be about judging one another.

"For example, judging a young woman for enjoying herself.

"A young woman who hasn’t harmed anyone but a woman who has faced a torrent of judgemental and close-minded opinions since leaving Love Island.

"As an ex Miss Newcastle and Miss GB I can say that it’s time people moved forward from their old fashioned thinking and accepted the simple fact that women like to have sex."

However, viewers are becoming increasingly freaked out by the saucy antics, especially when the islanders are doing it in broad daylight, in cupboards and in front of a watching audience.

In the most shocking sex scene aired yet, Terry Walsh and Malin Andersson had sex (under the covers) in full view of all the other islanders – just before she got booted off the show for being the most 'unpopular' girl.

It was hilarious BUT all kinds of gross.

Viewers had A LOT of thoughts:

Zara Holland, who has now left the show due to family illness, went on Lorraine this morning to talk about having herMiss GB title taken away from her for having sex with hunky islander Alex Bowen.

Lorraine was slammed for 'going in' on Zara, pelting her with questions about why she would do such a thing.

Zara said she now regretted her behaviour: "I'm not making an excuse, I know I'm my own person and I made that decision, but literally it was in the moment and it was the biggest mistake ever."

What's YOUR opinion about having sex on the telly?

Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
