Sophie Gradon is not having the easiest time in the *Love Island *villa right now.
Last night, the man she's been coupled-up with since day one – Tom Powell – was booted out of the show.
No sooner had Tom exited the villa then her new enemy Emma-Jane Woodham, and her who-knew-he-was-her-enemy Terry Walsh ganged up to have a massive rant at her.
Viewers reacted with furyto the scene but it seems that wasn't all Sophie had to endure from the terrible twosome that night.
After having a go at Sophie for talking to the other islanders about how she felt about that bucking bronco sex scene, Emma then did the exact same thing and bitched to her cast mates about Soph.
She told them: "I don’t want to talk to her, I’ve said everything I wanna say. I don’t care to listen to anything she has to say. I’ve made all the effort in the world with her and I thought ‘I really think me and Sophie have actually established a friendship’.
"Mug! I couldn’t have done anything more."
Umm…. Maybe she could have boned Terry under the covers? Or on one of the outside beds? Just a thought.
Sophie, being the bigger woman of the two, then tried to clear the air with Emma.
She apologised to for her behaviour that day, and said: "I just wanna say, I’m sorry I didn’t speak to you today. I should have spoken to you earlier about my feelings. I understand that and it looks sh*t that I’ve been speaking to other people about it."
What a woman.
Sophie then went to sort things out with Terry who told her why he had been so frustrated with Tom, and said: "I’ve had sh*t going through my mind with Tom the last few days anyway, and today I’ve sorted it out with him.
"Tom, for some unknown reason, pulled me to the side and said 'I’ve got no feelings for Sophie'. I walked away from it and I haven’t been able to talk to Tom since. I didn’t really get it, I didn’t really understand."
OK, two points.
One – why tell Sophie this?
Two – why not tell Sophie what Tom said to explain his actions to Terry and Alex Bowen earlier that day? Has he forgotten that conversation happened on TV and we all saw it?
Fortunately, Sophie's too wise to be taken in by Tel, and said in the Beach Hut: "I don’t know if I trust a lot of what comes out of Terry’s mouth, his mouth just seems to run away with him.
"That is just Terry I guess, I’ve just got to keep him at arm’s length. I’m not going to listen too much to what he said."
Hopefully Sophie will find two new friends among the eight new people we'll see in Love Island tonight.
