TOWIE’s Lydia Bright opens up about spilt with James Argent: ‘I felt like I didn’t have a choice’

Lydia Bright and James Argent were a true reality telly fairy-tale, weathering every single storm that came their way – they ARE childhood sweethearts after all.

HE EVEN BOUGHT HER MR DARCY THE PIG.

We were all rooting for them to get married after the last series wrapped, as they were living together and seemed all set to plan for their happily ever after.

However, despite seven-and-a-half years of ups and downs, Lydia has called time on their relationship "for good" this time – as Arg reportedly relapsed back into his drug habit.

heat spoke to Arg last week and he wasn't allowed to comment on the claims, BUT he did confirm that they were on a break and was adamant that things would sort themselves out.

He told us: "Me and Lydia are on a break at the moment. Of course, I'm hoping that we'll get back together in the near future."

Lydia escaped to Bali in the wake of the spilt to escape from it all (not without Instagramming it all tho) but the TOWIE starlet is back in Blighty, ready to talk about it all with ITV's Lorraine.

And she didn't hold back.

She wasn't afraid to tell Lorraine all the deets about the spilt.

"Me and James broke up nearly seven weeks ago.

"It was a tough decision to make but I felt like I didn't have a choice. I'm stronger and happier now.

"I've just been away to Indonesia and I've come back a lot more positive and strong and looking forward to the future."

Seem like Arg is going to have to do a whole lot of grovelling to try and worm his way out of this one…
