Chris and Olivia Love Island

Love Island has got the whole nation absolutely hooked, and thanks to the fact it’s on our telly screens every single day (yay), it's literally ALL we can talk about...like, ever.

Because we're basically living and breathing all things Love Island at the moment, one day in in real life can feel like an eternity in Love Island-time. This means that couples who one minute seem head-over-heels in love talking marriage, babies and a house in the country, are tearing each other's hair out approx. twenty-seven minutes later.

Recently Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood have been more on-and-off than Stephanie Davis and Jeremy McConnell and we've lost count of the times we've predicted a split.

But tonight, it looks as though things could finally be over for good - just a day after they ended their 'break' – as tensions following Jonny Mitchell's dumping from the island trigger Olivia into wanting to 'sack things off' with Chris. Poor lad.

Speaking in the Beach Hut, Olivia vents about Chris failing to comfort her after discovering she was in the bottom four.

"I’m a bit gutted to be in the bottom four, and it’s like he just ran straight past me to go and comfort Tyla," she explained.

"As much as I like him, tonight has put it in perspective for me.

"I feel like the longer I try and battle with him to get him to be considerate, to get him to be empathetic, it’s bringing out an ugly side to me."

Speaking to her fellow Islander's later on she added: "He’s a nice guy but that’s the flaw in his character, he doesn’t know when to rally round the people that are his people."

Kem Cetinay the chimes in saying as much as he loves them both, he doesn’t think they're 'compatible'.

Olivia then confronts Chris, saying: "I feel like we should sack this off now because I don’t think it’s going to work for you, it’s definitely, definitely not working for me."

Bit harsh, Liv.

After a bit of back-and-forth, and Chris questioning her sudden change of heart, Olivia hits Chris with a brutal bit of passive aggression.

"I’m sorry but I think it’s best for both of us,” she says, “And don’t cry again because that’s the whole reason we’re in this situation.”

It's OK, Chris. If you need a shoulder to cry on we're here.

Later on, Olivia tries to ease tensions by cuddling up to Chris, who's quite frankly having none of it, leaving Liv to vent to Jamie Jewitt (FITLORD) who takes it upon himself to become their couple's guidance counsellor.

The next day Chris brings out the old 'can we be friends' card but Olivia says they can't be and a HUGE argument breaks out.

Guess that's that then.

Tune in to Love Island at 9pm on ITV2 tonight to see the drama unfold.
