It was never going to be easy ripping Mary Berry, Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc away from the Great British Bake Off tent.

We mean, let’s face it… nobody was really watching the show for Paul Hollywood, were they.

But apparently things are going EVEN WORSE than expected in the land of Bake Off, as the judges and the hosts are allegedly having beef back stage. Ooooh errr…

The new squad

According to The Sun, Prue Leith, Mezza Bezza's replacement is REALLY not getting on with fellow judge Paul, and barely hangs out with him when the cameras aren't rolling.

A show insider told the paper: “The feeling backstage has totally changed with the new line-up. Prue has told staff she can’t stand Paul."

And that's not all. It seems that new hosts Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig are bringing their own issues to set.

Yep, we always knew Mel and Sue were a tough act to follow, but apparently Sandi spends all day cooped in her trailer doing knitting in between takes, while Noel is avoiding eating the cakes in case he puts on weight…. ummm, it's a baking show hun?

The source added: “Noel has struggled to adjust to the totally different environment and has been saying he doesn’t want to taste too many of the cakes because he’s worried about getting fat.

“And, worst of all, Sandi does not seem to have any interest in the contestants off screen like Mel and Sue used to.”

Wow. We're hardly sold guys – but if nothing else we'll be tuning in to GBBO to see if we can spot the bad vibes for ourselves.

Plus, we love a cooking show. Obvs.
