We're total reality TV mega fans here at heat towers. In fact, we spend so much time watching the ins and outs of other people’s lives on telly, that we genuinely confuse them for our actual mates and end up bitterly disappointed we’re not hanging around with the Love Island lot or cast of Made In Chelsea.

Given our fascination, we’re always intrigued when a new reality TV show crops up. But this one may be a bit too intrusive, even for us.

Dubbed a ‘provocative new hour-long social experiment reality series,’ the show is called Sex Tape, and it basically does what it says on the tin.

An evolution of that bizarre but strangely addictive (admit it, you couldn’t help but watch) TV show called Sex Box – where two people had sex in a box and then discussed it in detail with a ‘sexpert’ and show host Steve Jones – this new series will see couples make sex tapes over a week-long period. They then analyse their, erm, performance with a relationship expert.

For the time being, the production companies behind the show (eOne and Armoza) are focussing on developing the program in the US, but there is talk of bringing Sex Tape to the UK.

Who knows, this could be your ticket to launching a multi-million-dollar brand, reality TV franchise and social media empire. Hey, if it worked for Kim Kardashian…

In other TV news, Celebs Go Dating's Nadia Essex was forced to deny rumours she'd DIED after the show did not air at it's usual time over the weekend. Read more about that here.

Plus, Geordie Shore's Marty McKenna left fans confused when he tweeted claiming he'd been sacked from the show.
