We can probably all agree that The X Factor final is THE event of the year. It takes place in Wembley Arena (which is obviously very exciting), there are about 56,000 celebrity guests (see those rumoured this year HERE), and, obviously, we get to find out the winner.

And we're guessing Honey G might make an appearance too.
But a big old spanner might have been thrown (not literally) in the works, as Simon Cowell might be too ill to make it to the show.
Reports say that he's been feeling unwell since last Sunday's Results Show, and a source told the Daily Star: "He’s on bed rest. He’s doing all he can to get better for the final."
We REALLY hope he gets better – The X Factor just ain't the same without Simon (something we've found out repeatedly over the past few years).
If he is too ill, though, we'd like to suggest Tulisa as a stand in – she KILLED it a couple of years back when Mel B had to miss the final.

We're quite frankly more relieved than we've ever been in our lives.
If a judging panel doesn't have Louis Walsh, is it really a judging panel?
Louis (who was just the subject of a MEGA Twitter rant from Liam Payne of all people – read here) confirmed he'd be back, saying on Good Morning Britain that he'd signed up for "two more years."
And when asked if he would be returning, Dermot replied: "I'm here for a while."
