Is Stephen Bear going back to Celebrity Big Brother?

Because that's our back-to-work blues cured already

CBB Bear

Stephen Bear, hate him or find him pretty irritating, was the stand out star of this summer's Celebrity Big Brother.

Sure, he made himself a whole heap of enemies in the house, although some of them seemed to turnaround in their opinions when it looked as though Bear was going to win – Aubrey O'Day, we're side-eyeing you.

And he was even booed when he emerged as the winner.

But can you think of anyone who's worked harder to become the winner of CBB or even civilian Big Brother? We can't.

So we're thrilled to hear that he may be returning to the show that made his name with the masses (although we've been on board since the Shipwrecked days, y'know) in January 2017. Woo hoo!

It's thought that show bosses are planning a Gold Stars vs. New Stars version of the show which would bring back previous CBB contestants along with some fresh blood to mix things up.

“It’s a genius idea that has never been done before," said a source. Other than in *Ex On The Beach*series four, we'd say. But anyway…

"Channel 5 wants to do a show that gives a nod to the past but also has a fresh edge with new people too," the source continued in the Daily Star.

It's thought that Katie Hopkins (shudder), Katie Price and Pete Burns may also be high on the hit list of desires, as well as Perez Hilton.

We could live without Perez's return to be honest. He crossed the line from annoying to almost unbearable.

But HAPPY DAY we don't have to wait five months for Bear to be back on screens. He's there tonight! In Ex On The Beach, in which he will get very RUDE with Charlotte Dawson.

Hopefully Chloe Khan takes it in her stride. Seeing Bear get it on with other ladies was apparently a big factor in the breakdown of Bear's relationship with Vicky Pattison, despite the scenes being filmed before he met her.

Ex On The Beach continues tonight at 10pm on MTV.
