Love him or loathe him, Stephen Bear has grabbed ALL the screen time during his stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Now, his fans are gunning for him to join his Essex mates as a member of the TOWIE cast.

One viewer tweeted: "Odds on Bear being on TOWIE next year" whilst another CBB fan wrote: "I reckon get Bear on TOWIE when BB is done".

And we can reveal that Bear himself is keen to join the cast.

A source close to Bear confirmed that he would be up for joining the show, telling us: "He would be amazing on TOWIE and would add plenty of drama to Essex."

A second source added: "He'd sell his left arm to be on The Only Way Is Essex - he wants to stay relevant as long as possible."

Speaking to heat, a TOWIE insider said: “For us to consider a new character to come in, it’s got to be relevant to the storylines. They have to know the characters already on the show and it has to be a natural relationship.”

And he ticks those boxes: Bear is good friends with former Love Island contestant and new TOWIE star Jon Clark as well as TOWIE legend Joey Essex.

Joey Essex
On losing his mother, Tina Essex: "Some people think they know what happened but I was there that day and I’m the only one who knows how I coped. I want people to hear it from my mouth once and for all." Describing the traumatic time when his mother went missing, he said: "I didn’t know where my mum was. I asked Dad: 'Where’s Mummy gone?' "And he told me: 'She’ll be back soon.’ I didn’t know. I was just a kid. I thought she might’ve gone to a hotel. My dad must’ve been thinking: ‘Where’s my wife gone?‘ After the family discovered Tina had committed suicide, Joey admits he didn't believe his mother was truly gone: "I remember opening the door and Dad was standing there,’ he said. ‘He picked me up and said: 'Mum’s gone.' "It was the biggest shock of everyone’s life. But I didn’t really believe it, to be fair. I was upset and crying, but after a while I thought: 'Nah, she’ll come back.' "For the first five years I never believed it. I’ve never known how she did it, but I knew she killed herself. My sister Frankie knows how but I don’t want to."

Bear also co-starred on Ex On The Beach with current TOWIE queen Megan McKenna, giving him the perfect connection to the show. Bear even appeared in the background of the first ever episode of TOWIE back in 2010.

Of course, the show's not averse to a little reality crossover. Love Island winners Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde's recent appearance was a hit with fans and new girl Megan has fast become one of the most popular TOWIE faces after joining in January following her own CBB appearance.

And just as Megan's romance with Pete Wicks helped cement her a place on TOWIE, Bear's flirtation with current cast member Chloe Sims - who showed her support for him, tweeting: "I absolutely love Bear, he cracks me up" - could help secure him his own spot on the show.

Let's hope CBB mate and ex-TOWIE star Lewis Bloor has been giving Bear some tips…
