Fans of Strictly Come Dancing were NOT pleased with the results of Sunday night's show.

EastEnders star Tameka Empson was the second celebrity to be voted off the show after failing to win over the judges in a dance off against Laura Whitmore and her dance partner Giovanni Pernice.

Judges and viewers alike were shocked to find both couples in the bottom two with Craig Revel Horwood even admitting having to choose between the two was "a little bit of a nightmare."

However, the real drama started when Tameka revealed she had a back injury and said to Tess Daly before the dance-off: "My back injury ain't gonna hurt me, I'm gonna hurt it!" Pure sass.

After this revelation, viewers drew comparison with Anastacia, who avoided the dance-off last week after tearing scar tissue from her recent double mastectomy.

As a result of Anastasia’s injury radio DJ Melvin Odoom was automatically voted off the show and a lot of drama ensued. Strictly judge Bruno Tonioli even threatened to quit the show. Could you imagine a Strictly Come Dancing judging panel without the Italian firecracker and his ridiculously energetic critique? Nope, us either.

Anyway: fans took to Twitter to share their frustration about this week’s eventful results show, even going as far as claiming that Tameka being in the dance-off while Anastacia was able to avoid it was an example of "rules for one and rules for another."

After losing the dance-off with three votes to one - only Darcy Bussell opted to save the EastEnders' actor and her partner Gorka Marquez - Tameka added more fuel to the fire when she revealed a knee brace during her characterful farewell dance.

According the The Sun, Tameka went on to suggest she was not seeking the same treatment as Anastacia, saying: "I did have injuries but I didn't really want to focus on that…but I'm really gutted I'm leaving today."

While some fans were angered at the alleged rule changes, others pointed out Tameka's injuries should not be compared to Anastacia's. One viewer wrote: "I certainly hope I got that wrong and @Tameka_Empson did not strike out to @AnastaciaMusic. A knee injury is no double mastectomy."
