"I couldn't explain to you what the obsession with people getting cocks tattooed on them is," Jay told heat, unhelpfully.
"I think it's the same as when you were at school and if you weren't looking someone would draw a willy on your page," Alice Perrin obliged.
The show is back with a new twist on the format, Tattoo Fixers On Holiday. But while the three stars promised us that we'll see a lot more of them this time around, they were keen to assure us that the high volume of rude tatts remains.
"I had a lady who had 'girls want to be me and guys want to f*ck me' written just above her downstairs!" Sketch Reppin Ink (probably not what his mother calls him) told us.
"And I had a lad that went on holiday to Thailand and woke up the next morning with a tattoo of a penis going in his bum!" Jay claimed.
"It was massive," Sketch added.
"It had really big balls," Alice said, a trace wistfully.
Speaking of big, the show has come in for some criticism from the tattoo community for covering up really small, albeit terrible, tatts with enormous inkings. What's that all about?
"If the customer wanted a small tattoo, we'd do a small tattoo," Alice told heat.
"Yeah, but they don't ask for that," Jay said.
"People might have a tiny little tattoo but they say 'I really want flowers going up my side'.
"Or I tattooed a lad who had a tiny little bit of writing on his hip, it's an easy little cover, I mean you could do a little tattoo, but he said he wanted a silverback gorilla! Who would do a silverback gorilla tiny, you know?
"I think as well, they’ve come on the show and it's an opportunity, so they try and take the most of the opportunity.
"You would, wouldn’t you? I would! I'd get a sleeve out of it."
Seems fair enough.
Jay also told us about a VERY special customer he has on his books: Katie Price.
"Katie's said she has a couple of tattoos that she wants reworking. So we’re in talks at the minute about that, setting dates and stuff like that."
