Heading to Reading or Leeds festival this weekend? Here are heat's ten top acts for the weekend (and a couple of heatworld facts to share over a few paper cup pints)

21 Pilots

These guys have become HUGE over the past 12 months. After scoring a top 10 album last year and selling out venues across the world their insane popularity was cemented after their track Heathens became a stand out addition to the Suicide Squad soundtrack. Prepare to be blown away by their set on the NME/ BBC Radio 1 Stage (which, by the way, will almost certainly include lots of back flipping off of pianos).

Lower Than Atlantis

These boys have had a phenomenal year and they'll be taking on the R&L main stage with their new single Work For It that just dropped this summer. They've also announced a nationwide tour for March 2017, so check the lads out this weekend to give you a taste ahead of grabbing a ticket for one of the dates next year.

**A Rocky **

Kendall Jenner's rumoured boyfriend A$AP Rocky will be giving us an incredible hip-hop gear change on the mainstage. He's collaborated with the likes of Drake and Kendrick Lamar and prior to becoming associated with the Kardashian/Jenner family he dated Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea and reportedly hooked up with former X Factor judge Rita Ora.

**Good Charlotte **

Yep, the Good Charlotte boys are STILL rocking and they'll be headlinging the Lock Up stage over R&L weekend. They might be all happily settled down (Benji Madden is married to Cameron Diaz and brother Joel, the band's vocalist, is married to Nicole Richie) but that doesn't mean they won't have you head banging into a nostalgia trip.

**Jack Garrett **

He's been doing the rounds through the festival circuit this summer and after winning a BRIT earlier this year you're not going to want to miss this talented fella. He'll be appearing on the NME/ Radio 1 Stage so make sure you schedule him in and bring your mates along.

**Die Antwoord **

Easily one of the most exciting live acts around, these genre smashing South Africans are an act you definitely don't want to miss this weekend. Despite getting a bit angry at Suicide Squad for 'ripping off' their 'aesthetic' the trio are still best mates with the film's star Cara Delevingne. She even appeared in one of their music videos.

**Creeper **

This Southampton band have gained a huge fan base over the past couple of years and now have an almost cult-like following. Check out there set and soak up the fandom- we promise you'll be singing their songs for the rest of the weekend.

**Chvrches **

This Scottish electro trio have been making waves across the pond with their cool pop sound and even teamed up with Paramore's Hayley Williams on their last single, Bury It. Now you can see them live (sadly without Hayls) on the mainstage at both Reading and Leeds fest.

The 1975

Prepare to have your heart broken by The 1975's Matty Healy (who, by the way, is Denise Welch's son) as him and his bandmates perform their amazing album released earlier this year, of course alongside classic pop tracks Chocolate and Girls. Maybe try and figure out which song is about his famous ex Taylor Swift.

**Fall Out Boy **

If you were an emo kid in the noughties chances are you felt very passionate about Fall Out Boy. Bassist Pete Wentz was once married to Ashlee Simpson and he was even linked to Kim Kardashian (who starred in their video for hit Thanks for the Memories). It's time to relive your youth.
