Will this is BRILLIANT news for fans of fit men - Theo James is apparently being targeted by bosses of the James Bond movies to play the famous role.
Ever since Daniel Craig announced he would be standing down from playing the part, speculation has been mounting as to who would replace him.
Idris Elba seemed the favourite but Tom Hardy and Tom Hiddleston had also been mentioned as possibilities.
And the internet exploded today as fans of Theo heard his beautiful face could be blown up onto cinema screens in the next film from the hit Bond series.
During a recent press conference the star said he was “surprised, but honoured to take on this opportunity”.
“When my agent called and first told me that I was being considered for the Bond role, I almost fell of my chair,” he said, according to The Portly Gazette.
“But it is one of those roles that I have dreamt of playing ever since I was a little kid and I had to go for the audition.
“It seems it paid off and it feels like I am dreaming. This will be a blast.”
No official announcement has yet been made so Theo could be getting a little overexcited.
However, bosses don’t have long to secure an actor for the role as pre-production for the 25th Bond film begins in August and filming will start in September.
