Hold onto your curly blow, a picture of the TOWIE cast for series 17 has been released and it makes for v-e-r-y interesting viewing.

Both in terms of who’s there, and who is conspicuous by their absence.

First up, let's go with the surprises.

Towie cast season 17

Nicole Bass is still about, despite having a boyfriend outside the show (we hear). What will she do for scenes?

Unless - horror thought - she can’t have got back with Lewis Bloor, can she? And is that an ENGAGMENT RING?

Lovely Kate Wright has also made the cut. A show insider told heat at the end of the last series:

“Kate's so nice but she'll have no scenes next series unless she can start a beef with someone.”

But we hope she hasn’t started a beef. Despite that being what the entire show is based on. We love Kate!

Speaking of love, our queen Chloe Sims, is right at the centre of things, where she belongs.

Now Jessica Wright has left, could romance between Chloe and Pete Wicks be on the cards? Be still our beating hearts.

We are also very in love with Pete’s fine puppies. So. Much. Handsome.

Notable by their absence are Gemma Collins, Lauren Goodger and Mario Falcone. Gutted. We really thought Lauren might be making a proper comeback after her appearance in the Christmas special.

James ‘Arg’ Argent is also missing, but that’s because he was busy with The Jump at the time of filming, according to our *TOWIE *insider.

New castmates Chloe Meadows and Courtney Green, plus hot brothers Jon Clark and Chris Clark, appear later in the series.

And have we all taken a moment to look at Georgia Kousoulou’s hair? Good.

TOWIE series 17 begins on Sunday 28 February at 10pm on ITVBe.
