We bring this TOWIE news to you with a very heavy heart.
Gemma Collins is returning (which is good news) but for an awful, terrible reason.
GC comes back to the show that made her name to support her friend Bobby Norris after – brace yourselves – his little dog Beau was mauled to death by a bigger dog.
We are so sad to hear this ☹
Bobby broke the news about the death of Beau on his Twitter account, saying, in tweets that have now been deleted: "Absolutely heartbroken to announce that whilst on a walk with my baby Beau, he was mauled to death by another dog."
He added: "Owners should take responsibility for their pets to avoid these tragedies. There’s no such thing as dangerous dogs, just dangerous owners.
He also posted to Instagram about his loss:
It's thought that Bobby will lay Beau to rest in a pet cemetery, supported by his pals Danni Armstrong and Chloe Lewis.
An ITV insider confirmed to us that Gemma is back and filming today.
Emotions have already run high in the current series of TOWIE.
Lydia Bright and James 'Arg' Argent had a confrontation on the beach during which Lydia told her former boyf that she wanted nothing more to do with him, and that they should treat each other as strangers.
Lydia's come under quite harsh criticism for her words but let's not forget: Arg has lead her a merry dance of cheating, relapses and bad bowties for five years now.
And tonight's TOWIE will see two major meltdowns when Megan McKenna confronts Lydia, and Pete Wicks takes on Chloe L.
Here's hoping there's some silliness on the Essex horizon, we could do with a bit light relief. And / or Ricky Rayment's return. We'll settle for either.
