Not many things are worth sacrificing our much-needed beauty sleep for, well, apart from The Oscars.

AKA the biggest night of the year.

And this year's glitzy 89th Academy Awards ceremony promises to be just as amazing as the last – with LA LA Land, Lion, Moonlight, Hacksaw Ridge and loads more battling it out for the prestigious 'Best Picture' gong.

Plus, Skins alumni Dev Patel is nominated for 'Actor In A Supporting Role' for his portrayal of Saroo Brierley in Lion.

OUR HEARTS BURST WITH PRIDE.

But how on earth can us mere Brits watch the ceremony, that is broadcast live from Los Angeles?

Well, we'll tell ya. Because we're good like that.

Thanks to the wonders of Sky Cinema's dedicated Oscars channel (that was set up especially), no one will have to try and follow the whole thing via Twitter.

Amazing.

On Sunday, Alex Zane and loads of other guests will hold a special Oscars' preview show covering everything from the red carpet arrivals to award predictions.

Sky have got us all covered so all we have to stress about is who's going to win what.

Hurrah.
