Is it just us, or has 2017 been fucking fantastic so far?
Yeah it's cold and miserable and we're forced to sleep in two large dressing gowns each night, but we've also had Celebrity Big Brother, Ed Sheeran's TWO new singles, and now there's going to be a CHARMED REMAKE.
We, like literally every other person in the world, grew up watching Charmed. We lost our minds that time Piper got burned at the stake, cried when Prue died, and felt bitterly disappointed when Paige came onto the scene.
She was no Prue, let's be real.
US network, The CW, has apparently ordered a pilot script for a new series, set to be a "prequel-ish" to the original series of Charmed.
And it's set to be made by the same team as the original,who will be led by producer Jennie Snyder Urman, who previously worked on Jane the Virgin and Gilmore Girls.
So it's gonna be faaaab.
But it's looking unlikely that Shannen Doherty (Prue), Holly Marie Combs (Piper), Rose McGowan (Paige) or Alyssa Milano (Phoebe) will be returning.

Alyssa previously tweeted: ”Charmed fans! Nothing has been confirmed. CBS is developing a reboot without the original cast. That's all I know for sure.
"With all the reunion shows it seems like #charmed would be a great choice since we have the most loyal and best fans ever. But...
"I would imagine until CBS makes a decision on their reboot a true reunion type of show will not be happening due to CBS owning the rights."
So who will be in it?
Well, according to the Daily Star, there's three characters in the pipeline called Tina, Paige (not Halliwell) and Annie.
We cannot WAIT.
