Is there a more exciting week ever in the whole year than the run up to The X Factor live shows?

NO THERE IS NOT.

And this year's made still more THRILLING by the fact that the show has been hit by more dramz than The Great British Bake Off. And this year, that's a hell of a lot of dramz.

A whole load of people (who take reality TV a bit too seriously, if you ask us) are mega pissed off that the likes of Honey G (the next Jay Z with the same vibe as Nicki Minaj) has got through to the live shows.

Someone even set up a petition to ban her from the show.

AND IT HAS OVER 15,000 SIGNATURES.

Anyway, we just got EVEN MORE excited for Saturday by the revelation of some of the song choices for the weekend.

Emily Middlemas (Girls) is singing Toxic by Britney Spears.

Ryan Lawrie (Boys) is singing Perfect by One Direction.

Brooks Way (Groups) are singing Cake By The Ocean by DNCE.

Saara Aalto (Overs) is singing Let It Go by Idina Menzel.

Toxic is an absolute banger and you quite simply can't go wrong with One Direction, but Cake By The Ocean?

CAKE BY THE OCEAN?

Very mixed emotions.

Let It Go will obviously be fantastic – when is it not?

In other X Factor news, it's been revealed that X Factor couple Ryan Lawrie and Emily Middlemas (of the aforementioned song choices) are forbidden to share a room in the contestant house.

Ryan said: "It's our first time living together so it's definitely fast-forward our relationship.

"I'm happy we'll go through the experience together and help each other through any tough moments," he continued to OK! magazine.

"We're not allowed to share a room though."

The two are currently displaying their love all over social media (sweet), tweeting things like: I AM THE PROUDEST GIRLFRIEND IN THE UNIVERSE. We are actually in live shows together! 'ARE YOU SERIOUS?!' I love you" and "FINALLY REUNITED WITH @emilymiddlemas_ BEST NIGHT IN A LONG TIME!!!"
