Pinterest is the holy grail for beauty inspiration and they have helped us out by releasing their biggest beauty trend predictions for 2017 and you are going to LOVE them.

From no heat hairstyles to multi-tasking beauty, you’re going to want to check these out. You’ll be 2017 ready in no time.

No heat hairstyles

We’re all guilty of whacking our straighteners and curlers up to maximum heat, but the truth is...it’s killing our hair! Lucky for us, this year we are going to see a rise in heat free hairstyles and there will be plenty of tutorials around to help us achieve them.

Charcoal masks

We’ve seen charcoal in the shops more and more, but, it’s going to get even bigger! Charcoal is a completely natural ingredient that works to pull out impurities deep within the pores. It's being added to cleansers, face masks, toothpaste, and even juices because for its ability to absorb toxins and pollutants.

Chrome nails

Now, these are SO pretty! We’ve had matte nails, but it’s time for them to move over in favour of these gorgeous metallics. Do you remember Gigi Hadid’s $2000 Met Gala metal manicure? Well now you can do it too. Just use nail stickers to get the look for less.

Cut crease make up

Search cut crease on YouTube and you'll find HUNDREDS of tutorials on the eye makeup look – so it’s no surprise that it’s on the list for this year. Just as the name describes, it's a technique used to define the crease by "cutting" across it with a contrasting eyeshadow color with little to no blending. It is a look already loved by the Kardashians, as well as Rihanna and Adele.

Braided top knots

Coming up to spring/summer, we feel like this hairstyle is going to be everywhere! Boho babe Vanessa Hudgens rocks this hairstyle and she looks great doing it. We’re sure that there will be plenty of “how to…” videos coming our way. Luckily, it actually adds to the look if it’s not perfect.

Ash balayage

While balayage dominated last year, so far we have seen more golden caramel hues. This year, things are getting cooler, and we’ll be seeing a lot more ashy tones.

Jojoba oil

We’ve seen coconut oil (and we LOVE it) but this year there’s a new oil on the town. Jojoba oil is a multi-purpose oil that can be used on face, body AND hair.

Head scarves

This is actually the hair trend of dreams. Searches for head scarves haven risen by 25% and we’re not surprised. They inject style into an outfit with ease while they’re also great for hiding greasy roots. Bonus!

Lip and cheek stain

Multi-tasking beauty products are one of the most exciting trends this year. We are looking to combine products so you don’t need to carry as many products in your handbag. It’s also going to save us serious time, and money!

Microblading

Microblading is a semi-permanent alternative to tattooing eyebrows, which has rocketed in popularity after celebrities went crazy for the treatment. If you’re suffering from years of overplucking, or just generally want thicker eyebrows, this (relatively painless) process could be for you.
