Snoop Dogg, Snoop Lion, Pot Dogg – whatever his name is now - has invested millions in a home delivery service for medical marijuana users. Why are we not surprised?

The rapper’s venture firm Casa Verde Capital is backing a new app called Eaze which describes itself as “Uber for weed”.

The start-up tech firm claims to have made more than 30,000 deliveries since launching in San Francisco last summer – and now thanks to Snoop and a group of investors, the app has plans to expand.

Eaze founder and CEO Keith McCarty says his company aims to hire “50 people in the next 30 days” as a result of the £6.45million invested by Snoop and co.

A business associate of the rapper and former member of the Crips street gang said: “[Snoop] believes he’ll at least double his money in the next year.

“Medical marijuana is big business and recreational marijuana is going to be even bigger business soon and Snoop is right in there at the start of the boom.”

Snoooooooooooooooooop.
