Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag’s baby announcement was the biggest baby news since Cheryl and Liam Payne, and we literally cannot wait to see little baby Speidi.
Just IMAGINE if those two were your parents.
But the pregnancy announcement has apparently caused a rift in the Pratt family, as not only did it happen on Stephanie Pratt’s birthday, but she wasn’t told and only found out when she saw it in the news.
heat caught up with Steph to ask her about the impact the news has had on her and the family.
She told us: “I’d had a message from my brother earlier asking if I was awake, and I thought he was wishing me happy birthday, or something was wrong. I said ‘Is everything OK, is dad OK?’ I never heard back, and then I saw the news.
“I sent a screengrab to the Whatsapp group I have with Binky, Louise [Thompson] and Rosie [Fortescue], like, ‘Do you think is real?’
“I texted my mom the link and put a question mark next to it. Then I emailed my brother who said, ‘I don’t know how to call you in the UK’. My mom hadn’t even responded, she’d just said ‘How’s your birthday going?’ So I called my brother and said, ‘Is this real?’ And he said, ‘Yep’. I was like, ‘Oh my god’. I was mad.”
“I have a feeling the whole family knew. I think I’m literally the only person who didn’t. I just feel really left out. I don’t really feel part of my family. It’s fine, I’ve got Max [Steph’s cockapoo puppy].”
She then confided in us saying how she feels estranged from the whole family, and when we asked her how good she is at holding a grudge she told us: “Really good. If I were to ever bring it up, it will be when the kid is born. ‘Remember when you guys announced your pregnancy in the news on my birthday?’.”
