The love story of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna is a pretty fast moving one - they have only been dating for a matter of months, they announced their engagement in April and last week they told fans they were expecting their first child together.

But it seems model Blac wanted things to move even faster as it emerged yesterday that she had already filed legal papers way ahead of her wedding to change her name to Angela Renee Kardashian.

Mum-to-be Chyna, whose real name is Angela Renee White, has claimed the name so someone else can’t take the trademark.

The star intends to keep her current name for the time being but is simply planning for the future so no one can cash in on her Kardashian name.

According to TMZ, Blac is proud of the brand she has built around the name she is currently known by and wants to keep with it, but realises a Kardashian name could be lucrative and wants to have the rights to it if she needs to in the future.

It seems she’s already thinking just like her new family and is taking after Kim Kardashian, who trademarked the name Kim Kardashian West before she got married to Kanye.
