Ferne McCann has opened up about her emotions after discovering she had fallen pregnant with her ex-boyfriends Arthur Collins' baby.
Ferne announced her pregnancy news in April, just hours after it had been revealed her boyfriend at the time had been arrested in connection with an acid attack in and London nightclub.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, the former Towie star has opened up about her plans to raise her baby as a single mum, but admits at times she is overcome with emotion.
"Initially I was devastated," she told the magazine. "It was so hard to deal with what happened but then I realised it was not about me but about my child."
Ferne also confessed that as she speaks about the situation she has to fight back tears:
"Just sitting here talking about it makes me feel emotional, just contemplating what a life-changing experience I’ve been through.
"I have shed tears, but I always try to keep it to myself."
She went on to reveal that her due date is in 'mid November'.
Ferne previously broke her silence on the situation during an emotional return to This Morning.
Although they were unable to talk about Arthur's situation for 'legal reasons', Ferne was more than happy to talk about her pregnancy and described it as a 'blessing'.
"It has been such a stressful and surreal situation to be in but I'm actually feeling good and positive because I'm pregnant.
"It's given me strength and hope to be able to deal with it."
