Game of thrones

On a scale of epic battles from Mr Darcy and Daniel Cleaver in Bridget Jones to the great Battle of Hogwarts, the Battle of the Bastards in Game of Thrones season six was pretty bloody epic.

As you’d expect from GoT it was beyond graphic and pretty much a terrifying sensory experience for all involved, and we left series six convinced our hearts, eyes and ears wouldn't be able to take much more.

However, judging by the first teaser for the upcoming new series there's a whole lot more blood, gore, treachery, deception, sex, violence etc etc etc… in store for us and we're not sure our nerves will hold out.

CANNOT. DEAL.

Game of Thrones is set to return to our screens on 16th July and we're already taking bets on how many 2492081502 main characters will be killed off in the first ep.

Details of the new series are shrouded in secrecy (classic GoT), however it has been revealed that this series will consist of seven episodes, rather than the usual ten, which is frankly just cruel.

According to The Guardian, Emilia Clarke also teased that there's "another battle that's epic," which will follow on from the Battle of the Bastards.
