So far the standout news of 2017 has definitely been the arrival of Liam Payne and Cheryl's baby boy. For the first part of the year we were patiently waiting for Cheryl to confirm her pregnancy news, then when the bump did all the talking we eagerly anticipated the birth of baby Chiam.

When the new parents broke the news just over a month ago with the most adorbs Instagram post we were overjoyed.

Earlier this week, after much anticipation, it was revealed Liam and Cheryl's son had been given a name – he's called Bear

A source told The Sun: "Cheryl and Liam wanted to get to know their baby before deciding on a name.

"They didn’t have the name Bear before the birth.

"But they’d been thinking of a name since meeting him and they just felt it suited him."

SO cute.

Now Liam has reportedly opened up to fans about life as a dad and admitted he's been spending a lot of time at home with Cheryl while he's not working on his music in LA.

Apparently there's a lot of daytime telly involved, and Liam's a big fan of Judge Rinder.

According to The Sun, Liam opened up about his new favourite programma after recognising someone from the show as he mat fans in London.

Apparently, as the fan came up to Liam, he asked: "Were you on Judge Rinder?"

"I saw you.

"There’s a lot of daytime TV at home now we’ve got the baby."

Liam hadn't seen the end of the episode so asked the fan not to give away any spoilers. Lolol.

In other baby Chiam news, Liam took to Twitter for the first time since the big reveal of the name, replying to a tweet that Bear Grylls sent him.

Bear wrote on Twitter: “Great choice! Love & blessings to you guys as you start on the greatest adventure @CherylOfficial @LiamPayne”.

And Liam replied: “Thanks man hope he grows up with an ounce of your courage! You’re a boss”.

Luvly.
