Since going public with their relationship back in July (after secretly dating for several months), Rio Ferdinand and Kate Wright have been total couple goals.
The pair regularly share adorable pictures on Instagram and it was recently revealed that former TOWIE star Kate intends to quit her showbiz lifestyle in order to raise Rio's three children, Lorenz, Tate and Tia.
Now, according to Rio's pals, the ex-footballer is planning to take the relationship to the next level and propose to Kate.
Speaking about his upcoming foray into the boxing ring for a celebrity boxing match, his friends hinted Rio may have another ring in his sights.
"Rio is all about the ring right now. His ambition is to win a belt in boxing," a source told the Daily Star."
"We reckon he's after another ring long term – an engagement ring for Kate."
The insider also added: "She's given up everything for him – now it's time to commit to her."
Kate has shown her commitment to Rio and his family by leaving her celeb life behind her.
Speaking to The Sun, she said: “I’m taking a step back from the public eye, I want to keep my life private as I lived my previous relationship on TOWIE, my priority right now is Rio and the family.”
And she means business, too. Kate will be dropping her showbiz agent and cutting several ties she has with high profile brands.
