The 39-year-old has revealed that she doubted she would ever make it as an actress and was once juggling two jobs as a waitress and a receptionist to get by.

She told* The Sun* it was a dark time for her, explaining: "I was going through one of the worst periods of my life.

"I was getting rejected from one job after another and no matter how much I tried not to take it personally, a part of me couldn't help but think, 'I was too ugly to get that part'."

Kellie has certanly come a long way since her breakthrough role in nineties sitcom The Upper Hand and will be competing for the glitter ball trophy alongside Jay McGuiness, Katie Derham and Georgia May Foote in thegrand finale of Strictly this weekend.

Her on-screen alter-ego Linda Carter will also be taking over her screens as she is set to marry her sidekick Mick - played by Danny Dyer - over Christmas. But, it is 'Enders after all so we're sure there will be a whole load of misery to top off festivities! We. Can't. Wait.
