Ed Sheeran Baby

If you haven’t seen the picture of the little girl who looks more like Ed Sheeran than Ed Sheeran that's been flying around the internet lately then WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?

It's near impossible to have a scroll through social media without at least one meme of little Isla Walton cropping up on your feed.

As well as being bloody adorable, she is literally the spitting image of Ed, isn’t she?

Well, Isla's mother, Zoe Walton, has now spoken out about her daughter's uncanny resemblance to the Castle On The Hill singer.

Speaking to E! News she explained: "I can't believe how viral it's gone."

Zoe also admitted that "hopefully one day" Ed will reach out to little Isla and meet his mini-me.

Go on, Ed. Do it for the likes on the gram if nothing else.

In other Ed Sheeran news it was recently revealed that his HUGE hit Shape Of You was originally written for Little Mix.

We can definitely see why Ed would have thought this song would have suited the gals. And we can kinda imagine Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirwall belting out that catchy AF chorus. But what's really got us all in a bit of dizzy spell is that Ed previously revealed he considered pitching the song to Rihanna.

So, wait. Was Rihanna second choice? IN WHAT WORLD IS RIHANNA SLOPPY SECONDS?

Thanksfully, Ed has now cleared up the whole situation and revealed the real story.

Speaking to BeBox on their Facebook video, Ed said: "Do you know what, the actual story is, we started it for Little Mix originally.

"And then halfway through I was like, 'Actually this sounds like it could be good for Rihanna'.

"And then more of the way through we were like, 'Yeah, this is actually pretty good. We should keep it'."

Hmmm. Interesting.
