We recommend you sit down, grab a nice cool glass of water and try and remember how to breathe, as we're about to announce some VERY exciting news and we don't want to be responsible for any accidents at home or in the work place. OK? GOOD.

Gilmore Girls could be returning to Netflix for another revival series!!!

YUP. We thought we’d been served our final fix of Lorelai and Rory Gilmore with the four-part series, Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life, late last year and quite frankly we've been haunted by those 'last four words' (if you know, you know btw) ever since.

But the legends over at Netflix have just completely brightened our gloomy Monday with the news that there have been 'preliminary talks' with the show's creators about new episodes.

Gilmore Girls

According to Press Association, Netflix' chief content officer (AKA the man who holds the key to our hearts) Ted Sarandos revealed: "We obviously loved the success of the show, fans loved how well it was done, it delivered what they hoped.

"The worst thing is to wait a couple of years for your favourite show to come back and for it to disappoint you, but they sure delivered and people were really excited about more and we have been talking to them about the possibility of that."

EEEEK!

Gilmore Girls

Ted was quick to point out that the talks were 'very preliminary', so we're not rushing out to stock up on coffee and Stars Hollow merch again just yet, but we could finally be getting some answers about THAT look Jess gave Rory through the window.

We're also hoping for some more Suki - Lorelai interaction ‘cos it was kinda shady she ditched Lor at the Dragonfly Inn and, let's be real, we need more Kirk in our lives. There's always room for more Kirk.
