CALLING ALL MEAN GIRLS FANS: This is not a drill. After much anticipation, the promo video for Mean Girls on Broadway is finally here, and tbh, we’re booking our flights out to America as we speak.
The video, which includes a cast of spanking new plastics (read more about them here), shows Regina George, Gretchen Weiners and Karen Smith chatting directly to us, complimenting our hair colour (obvs), and inviting us to their super exclusive Mean Girls musical, as it hits the stage for the first time in Washington D.C. this summer.
Explaining the basic concept of the show, Karen goes on to tell us: “It's a musical. People talk and sing and move their bodies all at the same time…"
(Just in case we needed any clarification there.)
Now, we won’t lie. When we first found out there was going to be a Mean Girls musical we weren’t 100% sure anyone could replace the old cast of Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried, Rachel McAdams and Lacey Chabert.
We were looking at the newbies like, 'THEY DON’T EVEN GO HERE'. But now we’re super excited for the new show and crossing our fingers that it’ll come over to the UK soon.
