Over the last week reports have been flying around about what actually happened when One Direction star Louis Tomlinson was arrested at LAX Airport last Friday.

In a video obtained by Radar Online, Louis can be seen rushing over to his girlfriend as it appears a fight is breaking out between the two women, after the fan had apparently pulled out her phone to film Louis' incident with the paparazzi.

The One Direction singer then appears to launch himself at the young fan, to defend his girlfriend. The girl, called Ana Becarra, then falls to the floor and Louis loses his jumper in the scuffle.

Ana has now posed for photos displaying her 'injuries' which appear to be a small scratch just above her left eye and a small cut behind her left ear.

She has also spoken out and revealed she wants to press charges against Louis.

Speaking in a video interview published on TMZ, Ana described her version of events: "We were waiting for a ride and we saw people taking pictures.

"I got the phone when she [Eleanor Calder] rushed and just grabbed me, she was fighting for my phone so I wasn't going to let her get my phone.

"She said: 'Are you filming b*tch?'"

According to Ana, this is when Louis then came over and got involved.

She then continued: "I saw the guy from One Direction, he just punched me in my face and that's when everyone started getting all scandal."

Ana revealed she does want to press charges, explaining: "Because I don’t think it's right for a guy to hit a woman…and for the fact that I never did anything to him."

Ana's side to the story does seem to have some inconsistencies compared to the video published showing the interaction, and according to The Mirror reports in the US claim there is a "strong likelihood" Louis will not have to face court, but instead attend a formal hearing.

We have contacted Louis Tomlinson's representative for comment.

A court date had been set for 29 March following Louis' release on £16,000 bail.

Louis himself has spoken out, saying: "I was protecting my girlfriend," and a load of celebs have shown their support for the One Direction star.

Steve Aoki, Mel C and Perrie Edwards have all jumped to Louis' defence.
